I’ve been in catering for over 30 years because I enjoy the satisfaction of cooking and baking for a very pleased audience. At Abbeyfield I get to try out new recipes that the residents bring in.
Each day is different but every morning we start with tea and toast and chat about what’s been on the T.V. or what activity is on that day. It feels like typical family time to start the day.
I love listening to residents’ stories and talking to their family and friends. It’s like having an extended family.
