We are a non-profit making registered social landlord and charity operating across 14 properties spread throughout Scotland. Our key aim is to support people to live as independently as possible and to be an exemplar in the field of housing and services for vulnerable adults. We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer who will help us excel in the promotion, communication and delivery of our aims, objectives and targets. This is a new role for us and is a real opportunity for someone to make the role their own!
You will have responsibility for raising our online profile through the development of a digital strategy, maximising the potential of our website and intranet and increasing our social media presence. In collaboration with staff and stakeholders, you will develop a comprehensive media planner, seeking out opportunities to drive engagement through external marketing events and participation in community-led local initiatives. You will be instrumental in ensuring consistency across all our internal and external communications, both online and off-line, and for creating high quality engaging content across a range a media.
Experience in a marketing/communications role is a must, along with experience of leading and managing high quality marketing campaigns. You will have up to date knowledge of marketing techniques and principles, and be able to demonstrate competence in digital marketing, social media and web analytics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a flexible attitude and commitment to demonstrating our core values (care, honesty, openness and respect) in the course of the job. You will need access to your own vehicle and must be prepared to travel across Scotland.
