Recycling – Haddington

” The residents and staff at Abbeyfield House in Haddington have certainly caught the recycling bug” .

It’s a real achievement as there are ten people who live in the house and the house team cook two meals every day.  Therefore, you can imagine this could potentially produce a fair amount of household waste.  Everything is recycled so that when it comes to general waste, there’s only a very small amount.

Julia Baker, the House Supervisor at Abbeyfield House, Haddington, who was responsible for setting up the project said “everyone really enjoys the part they play in this and no one needs any prompting to participate.  There are always new ideas and suggestions from residents.”

Well done Abbeyfield, Haddington!
