I was born in Coatbridge and brought up in Old Monkland. I liked gymnastics and maths. I wasn’t particularly ambitious but I really enjoyed playing football. I played it professionally for St Johnstone and helped out Albion Rovers. However, then I got asthma which put my football career on hold. I took over my family business, which was a fishmongers. I thought I was very good at filleting fish.
I enjoy living at Abbeyfield because I feel safe and secure and I like the company. I enjoy going for walks, meal times and not having the responsibility of running my own home.
